I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of my 30+ years in the design and print industry, and despite the wealth of skills and experience I have amassed along the way, I am still learning. The creative and technical challenges I face day to day drive me and there’s still nothing as satisfying as a job well done, a problem solved or, especially, a happy customer.

During my time I have been part of the many exciting changes that have occurred in our industry, in software, processes, systems and machinery, as well as the inspiring creative trends that have come and gone.

I have enjoyed being involved in identifying, researching, implementing, and providing training, in software and hardware systems for some major companies, as well as making design and pre-press facilities more efficient, productive and cost effective.

Over the years I have dealt with many industry sectors and all kinds of people, from the small businessman to directors of large companies, and even some famous people too. My aim has always been to add value to my clients, and the many long standing relationships I still maintain seem to suggest I have succeeded.

For many years I worked for myself, producing design and large format print, predominantly for major industrial clients. As a sole trader, I had to manage the entire process myself, from initial brief through to invoicing. Organisation, time management and motivation are key to achieving this.

My passion and drive have not diminished in the over the years, but I now wish to contribute more to the generations coming through by bringing my years of experience and knowledge to a fresh and exciting new challenge. Having spent most of the last 20 years as a ‘self-reliant creative, technician and problem solver’, I want to add my value to something bigger, making a real and positive mark.

I believe that I can be a valued asset to any company that can offer me the challenge and opportunity.
